With an 18-hole championship golf course, a 20-metre pool and a luxurious spa, Slieve Russell Hotel is set within 300 acres of grounds. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

This 18th-century castle has a quiet location, looking out over huge grounds and beautiful countryside. It is now a 4-star hotel, mixing original character with modern luxury and free parking. This property really opens the doors to yesterdays world, I love the way you can sit in the royal rooms and experience the castle as if you were a resident there, it’s truly a unique experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for romantic weekend away.

Ramulligan Cottage, a property with a garden, is set in Cavan, 16 km from Drumlane Abbey, 17 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre, as well as 26 km from Maudabawn Cultural Centre. Very beautiful cottage, equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. A pleasant cottage whatever the weather, with covered or uncovered outdoor spaces, a veranda and a beautiful kitchen. Michael who was there to welcome us is a very nice person who was eager to give us advices about what to do, where to eat and how to really enjoy our stay. Thanks for everything, we will come back with a great pleasure.

Boasting a spa bath, Cosy Lakeside Chalet With Option to add Private Hot Tub is set in Duneena. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Absolute dream. Was so cozy so it lives up to its name. Way more than we could of asked for. Every aspect was comfortable and a beautiful surrounding. Will definitely be back. Thank u fran x

Drumlanaught Cottage Farnham, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is located in Cavan, 10 km from Ballyhaise College, 19 km from Drumlane Abbey, as well as 37 km from Maudabawn Cultural... The host Mary was so welcoming and understanding. I appreciated that. She was caring and understood how tired I was.

Offering a shared lounge and garden view, Lacken Millhouse and Gardens is located in Cavan, 12 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre and 21 km from Ballyhaise College. The location was outside of town in a beautiful setting. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Helen cooked us a nice irish breakfast and let us tour the grounds. One of her staff members was ironing sheets! Highly recommend staying here.

Featuring garden views, Nellies Cottage B&B features accommodation with patio, around 22 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre. Amazing accomadation, very laid back , stayed here while attending a wedding in Crover Hotel .. very friendly owners and beautiful breakfast, the little cabins were amazing
