With an 18-hole championship golf course, a 20-metre pool and a luxurious spa, Slieve Russell Hotel is set within 300 acres of grounds. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would expect in a high end hotel. The views out our room of the golf course were lovely. The included breakfast was a typical European buffet with all the variety you would expect. The hotel is not really near anything, so you are going there to enjoy that property. And there is much to enjoy. We wished we could have stayed there longer.

Ramulligan Cottage, a property with a garden, is set in Cavan, 16 km from Drumlane Abbey, 17 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre, as well as 26 km from Maudabawn Cultural Centre. Very beautiful cottage, equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. A pleasant cottage whatever the weather, with covered or uncovered outdoor spaces, a veranda and a beautiful kitchen. Michael who was there to welcome us is a very nice person who was eager to give us advices about what to do, where to eat and how to really enjoy our stay. Thanks for everything, we will come back with a great pleasure.

Drumlanaught Cottage Farnham, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is located in Cavan, 10 km from Ballyhaise College, 19 km from Drumlane Abbey, as well as 37 km from Maudabawn Cultural... The lovely Irish welcome from Mary and Bridey as soon as we arrived. A lovely cup of tea in their front room and friendly conversation, we were treated like part of the family as soon as we arrived. The property was clean and the room was spacious, especially the bathroom. Everything was brand new and well thought out for guests. Bridey made us a lovely breakfast of scrambled egg and nothing was too much or too little to make our one night stay so memorable. The ladies were lovely hosts, and we will be back again to stay for a few more nights at this traditional Irish bed and breakfast.
