We loved everything about this stay. The design of the rooms was very nice, spotless clean, very nice staff at the location. Totally recommend this hotel.

This lakefront hotel is a 2-minute walk from the pier in Varenna. The historic 19th-century building features a terrace with panoramic views of Lake Como. An exceptional staff; always eager to go the extra mile (or 1.6 km) to help. Although we did not have a lakefront room, we had an enclosed balcony that gave us a view of the lake and the Alps. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. In my 11 trips to Italy, there was only a B&B in Rome that I thought this highly of. You will not be disappointed.
