The owner was easy to reach and any question was answered quickly. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes walking from the train station and from the start of the main street. You don't hear cars or trains.

Boasting a terrace and views of city, Al molo 21 is a recently renovated guest house situated in La Spezia, less than 1 km from Castello San Giorgio. Close to the train station, a balcony overlooking the street, snacks and coffee/ tea/ water provided in my room. The room was quiet.

The host was excellent and very helpful which was greatly appreciated after an atrocious experience at a nearby affittacamere. Everything was very easy and we managed to book and enter within the space of 30 minutes; which was a lifesaver when trucking around bags with an easily bored four year old. The room was much larger than I was expecting, and my daughter was ecstatic to get her first experience of a bunk bed when we discovered there was this option (she could have slept on the normal bed provided... but it's a bunk bed!). I would 100% recommend this place to friends and family.
