The hotel staff from the reception to the restaurant to the housekeepers is perfect. Anything I asked for I get it ASAP. The owner Francisco and his mother is a leader not a boss and all his staff is like a family. Thanks to the whole QUERCETTA family starting from the reception Giorgia,Jacomo, Eleonora & Martina. The Chefs Giovanni, Lorenzo & Elisabetta. I try all the menu plus the Chef was making always a surprise dishes and all what I can say WOWWWWW. We really liked how personal the whole experience was. Special thanks to Francesca and the entire team who took care of us during the St. Valentine's dinner. The food, the atmosphere and design of this place is just on another level. However, the most amazing were the views this place offers. My son 8 years old said he enjoyed the ride on the golf cart - they use those to get visitiors from reception to their apartments. Me and my wife enjoyed breakfasts, sunsets and the views. Next time we are going to order Half-Board because the food is just terrific.

We spent a week in this traditional, comfortable, roomy suite with a sweet outdoor sitting area. High standard of cleanliness, towels changed frequently and it felt like a home away from home. Exceptional location and Serena was very friendly and available to give suggestions for dinner. The breakfast was a bonus in the little family run cafe downstairs. We loved our time in Orvieto and at La Magnolia. Highly recommended!

Great experience! The hotel is located in a very beautiful site! Very good breakfast! 2 swimming pools with bar service. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is excellent! Would definitely come back.

Set within a renovated medieval building in the heart of Orvieto, Palazzo Piccolomini is a 4-star hotel a 5-minute walk from the Cathedral. Rooms successfully mix classical design with modern... The kindness of the staff was the most important asset of the hotel. Everyone from the lady at the reception, the colleague who took away our car to park it, the gentleman who was serving at breakfast (and also brought our car from the parking) were really nice and helpful. I liked the smell inside the hotel, bed was comfortable, bathroom was new and fully functional and breakfast was surprisingly complete for Italy, everything to suit anyone’s taste. Location was top, near everything and also valet parking was very useful.
