Well situated in the centre of Takayama, Mercure Hida Takayama offers air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. Good location, late check out at 11am and big and spacious room. Onyado Yuinosho, Shirakawago provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 45 km of Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village and 46 km of Takayama Station. This was a great introduction to a ryokan experience. While it’s part of a chain, it still felt authentic. Very spacious rooms, impeccable cleanliness. The onsen is one of the best we’ve experienced, with a view of ghe mountains. The food was so generous, prepared with the highest level of attention to sourcing local ingredients, respecting seasonal produce, and balancing flavors. This was a really lovely stay.

Conveniently situated in the centre of Takayama, HOTEL WOOD TAKAYAMA provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. We like the design, Japanese Modern. The rooms are small but works well, our group had a pleasant, comfortable stay. The staffs were very friendly and most efficient, they all spoke fluent English. Breakfast was served in a bento with varieties of Japanese dish with rice. At night, sake and beer were free of charge at the lounge. Location is great, right at the old part if town. There is a Family Mart next door. In all, we enjoyed the hotel.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. El millor lloc on m’he allojat mai. El preu es mes alt del que em solc gastar però val la pena 100%. Tot està cuidat al mínim detall. Moltes amenities, personal fantastic, el lloc es preciós… ens van deixar una yukata i fins i tot tenen una estanteria al passadís amb coxins extra per si en vols un altre.

L'Oyado Koto No Yume es troba a 2 minuts a peu de l'estació de Takayama i ofereix habitacions d'estil japonès amb un toc de color. Lovely, welcoming and cosy. The common area in the lobby was a great addition to sit and read, play games, chat etc and they loan foot massage machines and aromatherapy oil burners from here too. Great having the public onsen too.

Nestled in the tranquil Hida Mountains, Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort offers traditional accommodation featuring hot spring baths and nature views. the property is so beautiful, the staff extremely welcoming. The services provided be it food or otherwise was excellent
