Everything about this property was perfect. My family of 4 had a private room with 4 bunks and our own bathroom. The restaurant attached was fantastic and convenient. The train station is a ten minute walk through a beautiful quiet neighborhood.

Awesome location. Literally above the station but noise wasn’t an issue. The tram is right outside the entrance- very convenient if you are going to Miyajima. The shinkansen is close so very convenient if you have many bags to handle. Helpful and pleasant staff. Clean room with a great view. Separate toilet and shower. Make sure you put “South Gate” when looking for it on a map app because there is another hotel on the other side.
