The location had a lot of beautiful spots around it and sitting down with Take-San in the evening while trying out all types of Amami Shochu was a lot of fun.

Fairfield by Marriott Kagoshima Sakurajima asub Tarumizus, Kushira Heiwa Arenast 31 km ja Ogawa-no-Taki joast 39 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on ühine puhkeruum, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. The rooms were spacious and very clean! The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to help me. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great place to stay! Spacious, comfortable and with good location close to the airport or train station.

Situated in Amami, 500 metres from Yanigawa Shopping Street, Hotel Sundays Amami features air-conditioned accommodation and a restaurant. Amazing breakfast buffet (centered on local and traditional food). Completely free laundry. Very convenient location near the sea and city center. Very corteous employees. Dinner was not expensive and very tasty.

Located in Amami, 800 metres from Higashi Beach, みーまん奄美 provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a bar. The property itself was amazing! There is a lovely common space where you can cook and hang out! The beach right down the street is beautiful and empty and you can rent so many different water activities! Only thing: restaurants around the place are often closed or far away, you can take the bus there (which is going every half an hour until ~19:00) or make sure you have at least something you can eat ready at the hostel so in case you don't find something you are settled. There is a convenience store right next to the hostel.

Situated in Yakushima and only 700 metres from Isso Beach, 屋久杉楼 七福 features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. It was wonderful the Hostelmom is Amazing wonderfull i stayed longer than planned it is an traditional Japanes experience

Kami House asub Amamis, Asani rannast 2 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla ja ühine puhkeruum. Yanigawa ostutänav ja Tida Mall on 1,5 km kaugusel. I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse, warmly welcomed by the amazing hosts. The price–quality ratio is honestly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and on my last day, Kami even prepared some homemade onigiri for me to take for lunch, they were so tasty and such a thoughtful gesture. I truly felt cared for throughout my stay. This was the best place I stayed at in Japan, and when I return to Amami, I will definitely come back here.
