We can highly recommend Matsushima Koumura. We stayed 4 nights and were very satisfied with everything. The owners were very nice and welcoming, the house is beautifully decorated and the little onsen perfect. The breakfast we had was very good and tea and coffee free. Everything was also very clean. The location is quiet, yet very close to all the sights in Matsushima.

Offering a fitness centre free of charge, Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East has direct access to Sendai Station. Free WiFi is available in all rooms. The location is great- right next to Sendai station as well as the shopping area! The room is comparatively bigger and it is a good value for money place.

Bridge33 CAFE AND HOSTEL se nachází v destinaci Takagi a nabízí pokoje s klimatizací a bar. Shiogama Shrine je 11 km daleko. Very nice people, clean facilities, cute bar downstairs, with spacious rooms and delicious breakfast (paid). It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.

Tama Hotel se nachází v destinaci Išinomaki. Shiogama Shrine je 37 km daleko a Sendai City Community Support Center 49 km. We stayed a night in Ishinomaki in order to tour Cat Island on the following morning. We arrived by train at around 4 pm and it was a pretty easy walk to the hotel. The family room on the first floor was huge - the kids especially loved the massage chair! The manager is a wonderful host and he gave us a tour of the facilities and all the information about the cat island ferry the following morning, including the weather conditions. He also helped our cat-crazy kids hold and feed some of the hotel's feline residents. The hotel has a cat room for those who want to play with cats and/or join for cat dinner time. Best of all, our host drove us to the ferry, helped us pick up some delicious pastries on the way, and then picked us up (with our luggage!) after the ferry to take us directly to the train for our next stop - an AMAZING service. Without their help I don't think we would have caught our train! I absolutely recommend Tama Hotel for anyone who loves cats and/or wants to explore Cat Island and Ishinomaki.

Uchi Matsushima Guesthouse se nachází v destinaci Macušima. Shiogama Shrine je 9,4 km daleko a Sendai City Community Support Center 23 km. The host speaks good English and is very nice and helpful and open to just chatting. The location was great with easy access by foot to two train stations and just a minute up from the main street and the shoreline and just a few minutes walk from the plenty of things worth exploring.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. It was absolutely exceptional, from the food, to the staff, to the service and hot springs, everything was simply immaculate. You cannot get any better than this.

Komatsukan Kofu-tei se nachází přímo u zálivu Matsushima a nabízí ubytování s bezplatným kabelovým připojením k internetu. It’s a ryokan style hotel, with onsen, which allow tattoos and a private onsen too, which is amazing! The views of the ocean are breathtaking, as well as the many small islands that fill the horizon. The staff are beyond amazing and the room was just fantastic! 10/10!
