One of the best places I’ve stayed at during my time in Japan! The room is comfortable, the view from the shared kitchen is amazing and the hosts are really nice and helpful. I didn’t have a car but there’s a bus stop nearby with 4-5 busses a day in each direction - so if you wanna visit Aoshima or Udo Jingu it‘s easily accessible from there, even without a car!

Este ryokan, inaugurado en abril de 2014 tras una reforma completa, ofrece habitaciones amplias rodeadas de montañas tranquilas. This is one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed at during our trip. Set right against the mountain, surrounded by lush green trees and a river running right below us…it was spectacular to see. The onsens were lovely and we used the private onsen right beside the main building.

Ryokan Shinsen se encuentra en Takachiho, a 6 min a pie de Takachiho Shrine y a 1,8 km de Acuario de peces de agua dulce Takachiho Gorge. Incredible property and the ryokan was immaculate, tranquil and friendly. The staff were all wonderful and the owner is very kind. We were late to our gorge boat and she gave us a lift in the van. The meals were also wonderful. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Thank you again!

Lovely little home in Mimitsu, well stocked and super comfortable. We used the hot tub which was great. The bed was so comfortable, we had a great sleep. The place is decorated very well, it's really homely but also modern.
