The staff were really friendly and made us feel at home, the location was excellent and central, and the room was clean and comfortable. The snacks were a great touch after a long day of travel. Biwako Hanakaido features outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, 3 dining options and rooms with a balcony and Lake Biwako views. It also has a garden and a sauna, while the lobby offers free WiFi. First time trying ryokan. Went absolutely above my expectations! Fancy private dining room that you both eat dinner and breakfast at. Very friendly staff who walks you through everything. Amazing private onsen with a beautiful view. Food was amazing! Shuttle bus was quick. Absolutely huge room, even for western standards!

Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Wow! Such an amazing stay! Great experience with a private onsen in front of the lake. The room was very beautiful Japanese styled, and super clean. The breakfast was one of the best we had!
