There’s also hosts also made great suggestions for places to go for dinner and trails we could go on a walk on. The breakfast was also delicious. Absolutely recommend this place for your quiet getaway to Tsuwano.

Situated in Masuda, 600 metres from Mochiishi Beach, ゲストハウス＆カフェ ハレテル features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Loveliest hosts ever, stayed late so they could check us in, gave us complimentary coffees the next morning, recommendations of things to do & places to eat. Rooms were excellent, we had four people, two in dorms two in single rooms, both were great, clean & cozy. Location is unbeatable, on the beach with a gorgeous view. Price was great for all rooms.

Featuring 4-star accommodation, Inishie no Yado Keiun is located in Izumo, 2.3 km from Inasa Beach and 400 metres from Shimane Museum of Ancient Izumo. Clean, quiet, great food, staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, I loved the onsen in our room, and the self grinding coffee was excellent, beautifully decorated.

We had a wonderful stay. Mr. Namba-sama was an exceptionally kind and helpful host. The accommodation was beautiful and very clean, and the train station as well as the main sights were easily reachable by bus or on foot. A truly lovely little town with the best host imaginable! Set in Yasugi, 26 km from Mizuki Shigeru Road, Shokinkan offers rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. This was a once-in-a-Lifetime experience! I could not rate them any higher if I tried. The host picked me up from the small railway station. At no charge. He helped me carry my heavy suitcase. Don’t bring one there if you can help it. He took me to this most beautiful location right next to a Buddhist-monastery. In the middle of the woods, going through small, adventurous roads. I was greeted with a matcha 🍵 and a sweet. A can of tea was given to me. My room had a big window to the woods. I went to view the surroundings and I was honestly stunned. His wife asked me if I wanted a bath and at what time I wished to eat. The food served in a separate private room by the family ( grandma and wife) was out of this world. So much love put into that. So much effort. And it never ended, the arrival of even more little pots and pans. I then slept in the perfectly clean little bed on the floor. Rainy night, so cozy. Breakfast was served and just as perfect as the evening before. The host took me back to the train. I left my bag at the station to see the Adachi- museum of art. All in all, if you are after the real Japanese experience- go here! I took the train here for 6 hours, and I would always do this again. I just wish they put their prices up. They are so much worth this- and more.
