Nice remodelled property, rooms were clean, ac worked great, plenty of space. The location is great for walking to the main break as well as restaurants nearby. If you need anything (tuktuk/scooter rental, taxi etc) the owners are very happy to help coordinate. The owners are very kind and happy to include you in their local card/board games! Would recommend 👍

Tropicana Home Stay มีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ในอารูกัมเบย์โดยห่างจากหาดอารูกัมเบย์ 100 ม. และห่างจาก Muhudu Maha Viharaya 3.2 กม. A pleasure! My boyfriend and I stayed at Tropicana Hotel for 6 nights, and this is the best decision we have made in our 3 week trip to Sri Lanka. I've never felt so welcome as we did at this hotel, it felt like Jazz and his family opened their home for us. The accommodation is top quality (10/10), however the best part was the warm and good people at the hotel. We even got invited to a home made Sri Lankan dinner, very wholesome and soo good curry! The accommodation is close to city center but the rooms are quiet and withdrawn. Its located right next to the beach and also a super market, which is run by the family. Jazz also organized surf lessons, a safari tour, and affordable transport to the next part of our journey. Absolutely worth a visit :) Thank you Jazz and family!

The property is pretty much spotless and located just meters from the Indian Ocean, which means you can hear the waves ALL NIGHT. The staff is super attentive and thoughtful, from the caretakers to the bartenders to the management. I was also pleasantly surprised to find real Neapolitan pizza, a wide selection of Italian wines, and caffè corretto with Sambuca (!) – just when I started missing European flavors a bit ;) And if that wasn’t enough, the yoga classes first thing in the morning put you in a blissful mood. Would definitely come back <3

Beautiful, clean, quiet place. It is located 50 meters to the beach which is very comfortable. Rooms are equipped with A/C. Nice surfing school named "Surf with Deen" is located next-door. There are many restaurants within walking distance. So, it is very good place to stay when you are in Arugam Bay.

If you don't want to stay in crowded Arugambay this is the right place for you. You have your own pirvate beach, a little cabana, good food at the restaurant and it is the cleanest hotel we have been in Sri Lanka.

Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Stay Golden อยู่ในอารูกัมเบย์ ห่างจากหาด Pasarichenai Beach 300 ม.มอบบริการที่พักพร้อมจักรยานให้ใช้ฟรี ที่จอดรถส่วนตัวฟรี สระว่ายน้ำกลางแจ้ง และสวน ที่พักแห่งนี้มีบริการลานระเบียงและบาร์... The hotel is phenomenal. The lovely German owner is really accommodating and friendly. The staff are also great. Everything about this place is perfect and if I could give it a 12 I would. We went during the off season (January) so the town was very quiet, which made having this accommodation all the more better.

Charitha Rest อยู่ในอัมปารา ให้บริการสวน เลานจ์ส่วนกลาง ลานระเบียง และอินเทอร์เน็ตไร้สาย (WiFi) ฟรี... Owner was very friendly and helpful. He organised boat safari at Gal Oya for us. Food was delicios and fresh. Rooms are small but clean. Good value for money.
