Vi havde et rigtig dejligt ophold. Værten var rigtig venlig og sørgede for at opfylde de behov, vi havde. For eksempel fik vi et ekstra tæppe, da vi bad om det, og han ændrede morgenmaden, så det passede bedre til os, da vi spurgte om det. Det lå tæt på Lovers Leap vandfaldet, som vi synes var fedt. Kan stærkt anbefales som overnatning.

Sun mount adams peak har en god beliggenhed i centrum af Nallathanniya og har en terrasse og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Great location for the walk up Adams Peak. The staff were very helpful with a good local place to eat and timings on when to start walking. Also great breakfast in the morning and they allowed for a slightly later check out which wasn’t needed but good to know.

He was so welcoming and caring, taking us to a gems shop and patiently waiting while we explored, helping us find perfect jackets, bringing us to amazing local restaurants, and showing us around Nuwara Eliya. The next morning after serving us a delicious homemade breakfast, he kindly drove us to the train station himself. What makes this place truly special is how the whole family makes you feel at home. If you want more than just accommodation but a genuine cultural experience with the kindest hosts, don't look further. Our highest recommendation! ✨

Shevyhaws ligger i Nuwara Eliya, 3,8 km fra Gregory Lake Nuwaraeliya og 11 km fra Hakgala Botanical Garden. Her er en have og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. We loved our stay at Shevyhaws, and would love to stay there again. Chaminda and his family are wonderful guests, they could not do enough for you. Breakfast was delicious and had everything from fruit, to toast, jams and omlettes to curry and roti and pancakes. Accommodation is a bit away from town about 2.5 km, but that was not a problem as Chaminda gave us rides to and from town at no cost, whenever we texted him. He recommended a delicious vegetarian restaurant. He organised daytrips with his 4x4 Jeep at very good prices including the Horton plains, and some tea plantations and waterfalls. The Lovers leap with it's beautiful surroundings is 15 mins walking distance from Shevyhaws. Shower wàs hot and powerful and bedroom was spotlessly clean and included warm cosy blankets for the colder nights. Would strongly recommend to anyone considering.
