Beautiful property but even more beautiful and kind staff! The food at dinner and breakfast was delicious.

It feels like you are in someones home. The rooms are big and spacious, incl the bathrooms. The hotel has a lovely garden in the backyard and I believe most rooms have an outdoor patio. The food/restaurant is very good too. We had almost all our meals at the hotel and the menu has many different variations such as local cuisine, arab, chinese, western etc. The staff is all very kind, gentle and goes the extra mile for you and your needs. The hotel is located approx 10min walking distance from the city center. You wont regret staying here at all!

The host was incredibly kind and helpful. He arranged tuktuks for our longer rides at a good price, which made everything so much easier. We enjoyed breakfast and had also dinner at a very good price. One morning, when we left for a hike very early, he even prepared a breakfast to go, which was such a thoughtful gesture. His whole family is truly lovely and welcoming.

Great location for the walk up Adams Peak. The staff were very helpful with a good local place to eat and timings on when to start walking. Also great breakfast in the morning and they allowed for a slightly later check out which wasn’t needed but good to know.

Our room was spotlessly clean and cozy, with an absolutely charming flower-filled balcony that made sunrise magical. Our host, Sanjaya, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He was so welcoming and caring, taking us to a gems shop and patiently waiting while we explored, helping us find perfect jackets, bringing us to amazing local restaurants, and showing us around Nuwara Eliya. The next morning after serving us a delicious homemade breakfast, he kindly drove us to the train station himself. What makes this place truly special is how the whole family makes you feel at home. If you want more than just accommodation but a genuine cultural experience with the kindest hosts, don't look further. Our highest recommendation! ✨

Shevyhaws se găsește în Nuwara Eliya, la aproximativ 3,8 km de Lacul Gregory și la 11 km de Hakgala Botanical Garden. We loved our stay at Shevyhaws, and would love to stay there again. Chaminda and his family are wonderful guests, they could not do enough for you. Breakfast was delicious and had everything from fruit, to toast, jams and omlettes to curry and roti and pancakes. Accommodation is a bit away from town about 2.5 km, but that was not a problem as Chaminda gave us rides to and from town at no cost, whenever we texted him. He recommended a delicious vegetarian restaurant. He organised daytrips with his 4x4 Jeep at very good prices including the Horton plains, and some tea plantations and waterfalls. The Lovers leap with it's beautiful surroundings is 15 mins walking distance from Shevyhaws. Shower wàs hot and powerful and bedroom was spotlessly clean and included warm cosy blankets for the colder nights. Would strongly recommend to anyone considering.
