If you never been to Kalpitiya, it has a sense of being on the outskirts of civilization. Here you stay nestled among the houses of the locals and share the beach with its fishermen. Beside great kite- and windsurfing (and endless beaches of course), there is not a ton of things to do in Kalpitiya. Scuba diving is good, when there is visibility. Dolphin watching is also a possible activity, but quite an expensive one that last a couple of hours. You won’t find any city center with shops, bars and restaurants near, but you can of course visit other resorts and use their facilities. However you should know that you have a very good restaurant on site if you stay at the Sea Sand Resort! This establishment is made up of about 10 small bungalows with a restaurant. The bungalows are quite basic, but very clean and comfortable and represents good value for money. Within about 10 minutes or more on foot, you can reach surf schools and beaches. From my own experience I can promise that you will be very well taken care off if you chose to stay at Sea Sand Resort.

We can a 100% recommend this resort for everybody. Stayed here 2 days and the personal does absolutely everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The food they serve is really tasty and there is a evening buffet that you certainly will enjoy. You can have a nice walk to create your own mini-safari. The owner, Roshan, is a really nice guy and helped us with everything. Booked an amazing safari as well with a driver who new the animals and their patterns very good allowing us to see them all. Nothing but praises.

Objekt Agro Village Resort, Kalpitiya nalazi se u gradu 'Kalpitiya' te sadrži vanjski bazen, vrt, terasu ibesplatan WiFi. Really cool tree house rooms on the peninsula. The host and cook is amazing and he makes delicious meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom is partially open air which was really cool. The hammocks and tables made it a peaceful haven. The pool was still being made when I went but it will be a really nice addition. I highly recommend this place.

Fabulous! The host is really friendly and kind. We had a super tasty and variated dinner, local food self service style with an explanation of every dish! Spectacular! The room was peacefull and tidy, sleeping with all the forest noises was fabulous. We highly reccomend to stay here!

Objekt The Backwaters Lodge nudi sobe s klima-uređajem u gradu 'Wilpattu'. Objekt obuhvaća razne sadržaje kao što su vrt, restoran i oprema za roštilj. The staff were incredible, so kind and helpful. We felt completely spoiled. Very easy to communicate with and they also helped book the safari and transportation to our next location. Food was so delicious.

Objekt Sandy Edge smješten je na 5 min hoda od znamenitosti Plaža Kudawa te sadrži smještaj u kojem su vam na raspolaganju vrt, restoran i posluga u sobu. Overall the place has very rustic view and the cottages were very independent and I liked a lot. It was quite windy so the sound from palm trees were amazing in the night. Great decorations and very very good food and hosts. We really felt comfortable and would definitely visit again.
