I had an amazing stay at this hotel with my family! The ocean view from our room was breathtaking, and the room was spotlessly clean. Roshan is the best host and did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Prior to arrival he assured us that they could cater for one of our party who is vegan and also arranged a full-day safari for us. We had a large family room which was immaculate with great facilities. Each night, Roshan's wife cooks an incredible buffet for the guests, all freshly prepared with a huge choice. The food was amazing and Roshan and his family made our stay memorable.

Very quiet relaxing spot with well designed units. The service and food were excellent. An enjoyable 15 minute bicycle (they are free) ride to Elements Resort on the beach. The owner Anushka is a wealth of knowledge and was able to organize dolphin watching and onward travel for a reasonable price.

We had a great time at this guesthouse in Wilpattu - not far from the National Park. Great to meet Roshan and his team; they really try to fulfill all of your wishes and more. A very warm welcome and time with them. Food was excellent !! and such a big variety; thanks also for arranging our Safari with an experienced guide. You can see monkeys at the edge of the property, there are friendly dogs, ducks... cows around when you go for a walk. Mangoes growing on top of your bungalow...

Windy Waves Kite Beach & Nature Resort is true to its name. Set in a beautiful location the huts and facilities are built from locally sourced natural materials in traditional village style (by the staff). It is an absolute treat if you like simplicity and sustainable design. The staff are warm and friendly and go above and beyond. When I left some things behind they were delivered back to Negombo at no cost. Super grateful for a memorable stay. Would love to come back.

Set within the forest it is an oasis of calm. The staff were friendly and keen to help. The accommodation is quirky, fairly basic but comfortable. The food was excellent and plentiful. There are a number of activities and excursions available, or you can simply relax on your veranda up in the trees. There are a number of chill out zones.

Anawasal offers lagoon front accommodation and yoga classes in Kalpitiya. Free private parking is available on site. I can absolutely recommend this place. Shibi, Dinesh & the team make sure that you have everything you need, without being to pushy. I extended my stay, because I felt so relaxed and comfortable here. The food is great :)

We loved the tranquil garden, beautiful modern clean architectural “A” frame guest house and separate dining pavilion. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were exquisite Sri Lankan cuisine. The plunge pool was welcome to cool in before dinner and breakfast. Comfiest beds and pillows in Sri Lanka! We will come again!
