Lovely stay in the middle of the jungle with the nicest staff. Every evening, a lovely buffet is prepared with all sorts of curries which are delicious. You can also book a safari with them. We would recommend the full day tour. Highly recommend this place if you visit Wilpattu!

Very nice, clean and modern room surrounded by nature and very close to Wilpattu national park. We arrived from airport quite late and they organized transport and a delicious vegetarian dinner for us, apart from a beautiful safari the next day. Everybody was so nice, we had a very lovely time at Life of Leisure.

Roshan, his family and their staff were delightful hosts. Very helpful and organised our Safari at Wilpattu National Park which is only a few minutes drive away and our transfer back to Negombo the next day. We had a beautiful, lunch, dinner and breakfast prepared for us which was some of the best food we ate during our entire trip. The room was clean, attractive and comfortable.

The food and service at The Backwater's Lodge was exceptional and even though we missed our flight connection they rearranged everything without any issue. I recommend a swim in the river after a day safari!

Wild Wadi Wilpattu - Villas with private Plunge Pools se nachází v destinaci Wilpattu a nabízí venkovní bazén, zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu a výhled na bazén. The room was built well, spacious and had a great AC. From the room windows we were able to spot animals like monkeys and squirrels, and we saw plenty of birds in the area as well. The staff were AMAZING. Super helpful and nice, always available for questions and explanations about the wildlife. We booked the safari tour from the hotel and it was great decision - they provided us with great food and we were accompanied by Shantha, a guide from the hotel, who was friendly, professional and thanks to his knowledge we were able to see two different leopards in two different days. We recommend asking for the tour with him.

This was the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka. Isuru and his wife Samadhi are so welcoming, and the dinner they prepared only for us was really impressive. 5 course dinner just for 2 adults and 1 child. Also, mattresses are really good quality, hotel quality bedsheets and towels and good AC. Also, the rooms smell very nice and are not damp as in other places. If I could give this place 1000 stars I would. We also enjoyed the nature evening walk.

Amazing location, just 15min Drive to the entry of the national park and as we were coming in the evening, we had an elephant crossing just outside our hotel. Such a good start of the safari. we took 3 rooms so whole 3 floors were ours. The staff was super friendly; they helped carry our bags and show us rooms. prepared dinner in advance. Quick response to all of our questions. Next morning prepared take away boxes for breakfast and lunch for our safari day trip. We had an awesome weather. So more elephants, tons of birds, alligator I think, and..... leopard. The only reason we visited this safari was to see leopard and it was a perfect choice. Not alot of tourists and we've seen everything we wanted. On a way back, last 10 min started to rain and the hotel staff helped up with bags again and easy check out. They were always helpful and kind. I read some other reviews saying that the place is under construction - but its not relevant. Yes, they started the business maybe couple of years ago and they do develope slowly but they try and work very hard to make us tourists happy. We had a group of 5 people, parents are senior and we all loved it and would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
