Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. The best accommodation in Longyearbyen imaginable! Not just a hotel but many other facilities including a huge "living room", game room, restaurant, etc. A complex of several buildings set aside from the city center yet very close to it (there is a bridge shortcut to the town). We stayed there during the polar night and we enjoyed the setting with Christmas trees in the yard. Very nice breakfasts and a superb restaurant.

Situated in Longyearbyen, within 1.3 km of Svalbard Church, Haugen Pensjonat Svalbard offers accommodation with free WiFi. Built in 1985, the property is within 2.1 km of Svalbard Museum. The host was the most amazing and friendly host ever! Very cheerful and helpful with a lot of information. Made me feel very comfortable and at home. I felt welcomed there.

The room is clean and spacial. The people here are friendly and willing to help. The heating system is like that the energy is free of cost. The location is right next to the city center, which means easy to go to restaurants and supermarket. It is very important in winter. The decoration makes me feel in a wooden cottage, which was an amazing experience.

The view from the apartment was super , mountains full of snow just a hands distance .The location was perfect , in the city center , all amenities in the kitchen were fantastic , everything was there tea , coffee , oil ,sugar and many many more items in the kitchen free to use The TV, washing machine ,dryer and dishwasher were in perfect condition .We used all and were very satisfied . The house was independent with a separate entrance . The check in was very comfortable and easy . The host Mr Pier was very good helped and answered all our queries to our satisfaction . He called every day to know our whereabouts. Informed us about local conditions . We felt very safe .

Radisson Blu Polar Hotel is the northernmost full-service hotel in the world, located in Longyearbyen. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff so nice and helpful.
