Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. This place is absolutely extraordinary. There is a strong sense of history, it is partly like a museum. We stayed there for four days, it felt warm and homely. Single rooms were basic, but met all our needs (if you are looking for modern scandinavian standards, you have to choose another place). The hotel has a amazing winter garden - a very rich breakfast is served in the morning. There is also some kind of lunch offer, which we didn't need. I strongly recommend dinner at the restaurant even if you are not staying at this hotel :) And last, but not least - we had the opportunity to meet and talk with two people who work in this restaurant - warm thanks to you, Valeria and Osvald! Your kindness made our stay even more exceptional! PS. One of us has already booked her next stay at this hotel!

What an amazing place, it’s located in a perfect spot on a beautiful street where you can often see the reindeers. The room was very clean, beds comfy and the owner was so friendly and helpful, highly recommend!

This hotel is situated on the island of Spitsbergen, in Norway’s Arctic Archipelago, Svalbard. It offers stunning views, free WiFi and free afternoon treats. Access to a relaxation area is also free. Great spot to stay, stuff is very friendly and the food is amazing! Room, lounge and dining place are very cozy, you almost feel like at home! Thank you for this great experience!

Beneficiind de o locație centrală în Longyearbyen, la doar 15 minute cu mașina de Aeroportul din Longyearbyen, Hotelul Basecamp este o proprietate în stilul unei cabane vânătorești tradiționale. Everything was awesome. The team at Basecamp treated was so kindly we felt like at home after 1st moment. The chef turned me from a tost fan to a Eggs Benedict fan. I will miss every moment from the time we walked into the reception until our pick-up back to the airport. Thank you all for such a great experience.

Longyearbyen Apartment se află în Longyearbyen, la doar 12 minute de mers pe jos de Svalbard Church și la 1,3 km de Svalbard Museum. BEST. STAY. EVER! I have been to Longyearbyen before, but stayed in a hotel. This time I was traveling with my mom, and wanted some place a little bigger. This apartment popped up and it turned out to be the best place we stayed during our entire arctic trip! The host was incredibly communicative, and helped us out with a few hiccups that happened during our stay. The apartment is incredibly spacious and clean, and the beds are amazingly comfortable! It was so cozy, and there was a helpful little pamphlet explaining everything that you may need to know about the space. It's easy to get to the center of town, about a 3-5 min walk to the coop, Stationen, etc. Again, the host was AMAZING, and I cannot recommend this place enough! We even got lucky enough to see the northern lights off the balcony on a few nights during our stay! Love, love, LOVED this place and this host!

The view from the apartment was super , mountains full of snow just a hands distance .The location was perfect , in the city center , all amenities in the kitchen were fantastic , everything was there tea , coffee , oil ,sugar and many many more items in the kitchen free to use The TV, washing machine ,dryer and dishwasher were in perfect condition .We used all and were very satisfied . The house was independent with a separate entrance . The check in was very comfortable and easy . The host Mr Pier was very good helped and answered all our queries to our satisfaction . He called every day to know our whereabouts. Informed us about local conditions . We felt very safe .

Hotelul Radisson Blu Polar este cel mai nordic hotel cu servicii complete din lume, situat în Longyearbyen. Everything. Given the remote location, I thought the facilities and restaurants would be basic. However, they turned to be much better than what I thought. If someone visiting Svalbard, this is the place for you. Advanced booking is advised.
