The people are awesome; super friendly and welcoming, very helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious, and different each day. The bed was comfy, the wifi worked perfectly, the shower was hot, and the view of the waterfall was awesome! Location perfect for a day-walk to the falls, and near to some pretty decent restaurants. Hummingbirds in the trees just off the balcony, really quiet, just a slice of bliss!

Very friendly and accomodating staff who keep everything spotless. Beds were comfy with lots of blankets and also amazing showers. My favourite part was the beautiful rooftop, with lots of plants and a view over the town!

Nagtatampok ang Killa Wasi Chachapoyas ng hardin, shared lounge, terrace, at restaurant sa Chachapoyas. The bed is very comfortable. The yard/garden is so beautiful, quiet and tranquil. The kitchen has everything you need. Very well located, just two block away from the main plaza. All the good restaurants cafés are just around. Above all, the host Kari is really sweet and kind! She gave me so many recommendations about food and even draw a handmade map for me, then walk me to the restaurant and helped me with ordering typical food because I don’t speak Spanish (which is a shame). She gave also a lot information on transportation. I wish I could return to this place one day.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Gocta Andes Lodge is located in Chachapoyas. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast each morning at this lodge, just 6 km from the Gocta waterfalls. Great view of waterfall. Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful

We had a wonderful experience staying at Casa de Mario. The location is perfect, right on the hiking trail to Gocta waterfall, with a beautiful view of the falls from the property. The village is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature. Mario is an exceptional host — he knows everything about the area and made us feel completely at home. He even made us a delicious homemade pizza with a purple corn crust — everything organic and full of flavor. We saw hummingbirds in the garden and many other beautiful birds around the property. It’s a great spot for bird lovers and nature lovers in general. If you’re coming to Cocachimba, don’t hesitate — Casa de Mario is the perfect place to stay!
