We had the best time at this hotel and recommend it to everyone. The owners, Walter and Pepita, and all their staff are so lovely, helpful, and their food is delicious. Also, there are alpacas, sheep and puppies on the property that are friendly. The view from the rooms and the restaurant are incredible and it's right next to the Condor Cross viewpoint. You can see as many condors here as at the viewpoint, but could also walk or drive to the viewpoint to get a closer look. And most importantly - the owners were so helpful and kind; anything you needed they found a way. We watched as they pointed out condors, fixed one guest's broken trekking backpack, and when we had car issues he coordinated someone nearby to help.

Killawasi Lodge is situated in the heart of the famous Colca Valley, in the village of Yangue. Surrounded by panoramic green landscapes, it offers modern accommodations with private balconies. It was serene, comfortable, very clean and very friendly staff.

Also near the centre of Chivay.

Our young daughter especially loved helping feed the baby alpacas and joining in the activities with the family. The homemade meals were delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable.
