All was great, but the most greatest thing is staff. This is the first hotel where you can be driven to the city centre for free just because of unlimited kindness of personal, especially, Filipe! Furthermore, during our stay my brother had strong allergic reaction and we didn’t have a medicine for that. Despite the late time and celebration of Christmas, Filipe drove us to farmacy, helped us to find a medicine and drove us back to hotel. We will not forget such happiness and extremely recommend visit this hotel!

Huge, ocean facing room. Very clean. Comfy bed. Good wifi. Easy access to beach and town. Special thanks to Paulo, very nice and helpful young man that helped us with a dinner reservation.

Lusitano Garden Villas ligger i Ponta Delgada, 10 km från Pico do Carvao, och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, gratis privat parkering, ett fitnesscenter och en trädgård. The location near the airport didn't bother us as we were out exploring the island all day. We loved to come back to our lovely, spotlessly cleaned, decorated with amicable taste apt. which smelled nice. Complimentary bottle of water was a nice touch each day. Kitchen had everything we needed and beyond including Nespresso machine. The apt. was quiet and had a patio overlooking the horses. Our son took a beginner lesson riding a horse which was a cherry on top! Still talks about his experience and already misses Biscuit. The pool and jacuzzi area are well maintained. The breakfast made of local products was very good. We enjoined our stay thanks to a very welcoming and attentive staff. Thank you!

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a gem! The location could not be better – easy parking right by the property, just a pleasant stroll into town, perfectly situated for exploring the entire island, and conveniently close to a large supermarket. We always felt completely safe here, which added so much peace of mind to our holiday. The cleanliness is simply impeccable – everything spotless and fresh, every day. The entire place is beautifully organized, with a layout that makes it feel both spacious and homely. The kitchen is especially well thought out: each room has its own assigned table, cupboard, and set of plates, utensils, and cooking items, which keeps things wonderfully neat and easy for everyone. And then there is Catarina – what a host! She is truly the heart of this place. Warm, sincere, and full of genuine care, she puts her soul into making her guests feel welcome and valued. She visits daily to tidy and refresh the common areas, replace the flowers, and, more often than not, surprise guests with delicious homemade or local treats. She is thoughtful, adaptable, and always ready to help – whether it’s offering great local tips or simply checking in via message to see if we needed anything. We felt so looked after and appreciated her kindness enormously. The property itself feels like a peaceful haven – quiet, comfortable, and infused with warmth and charm. Everything here has been designed with the guest’s comfort in mind, and you can feel the love and pride that goes into it. We travel often, but this stay will remain a highlight for us. If you’re looking for a spotless, perfectly located, safe, and beautifully run accommodation with a host who truly cares, look no further – this is the place! We would return in a heartbeat.

Canto`s Green Garden, Apartamentos Turísticos & SPA, 4 Estrelas ligger i Furnas och erbjuder en terrass med utsikt över bergen och poolen samt en utomhuspool som är öppen året om, en bastu och ett... A brand new property with friendly staff and tasty breakfasts. The nearby garden is lovely, and the sauna and jacuzzi are perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking.

Moinho da Areia ligger i Ribeira Grande, en kort bit från Praia do Monte Verde, och erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med gratis WiFi samt tillgång till en terrass. What a gem of a place. It’s relatively new, and offers something so special that I imagine it will be difficult to book as time goes by. They have paid attention to all the details here. Beautifully renovated, very comfortable rooms, very welcoming experience, with Christina being so attentive and providing home baked treats. The location right on the beach is amazing. Easy, reserved parking right outside the hotel is a bonus!
