One particular incident truly highlighted their dedication. Our car broke down in the middle of the road, 32 kilometers away from the hotel. Ronnie and Samantha, the owners, went out of their way to pick us up and ensure we got back safely. Their kindness and the helpful advices we received throughout our stay made us feel genuinely cared for. The location of the hotel is perfect for witnessing the mesmerizing northern lights. It was a breathtaking experience that made our New Year incredibly special—a memory we will cherish for a lifetime. For dinner go to the fjällstation (reservation!), it‘s about 15 min walk to the fjällstation, 10 min to the bus stop.

We stayed at the mini lodge for a couple of nights in late September. The place is quite cozy and convenient. The best feature of it - by far - is the view. Right in front of the lake, with only a thin line of trees. We got some pretty good views of the aurora from inside the cabin. The attached picture was taken from inside (using a tripod of course). You can literally catch the aurora while seating on the couch or on the armchair! Relatively secluded as well, as it is located at the end of the road.
