The air conditioner was very strong and the TV had many channels. The host was very warm, welcoming, diligent, friendly, and helpful. There is a great night market and many stores nearby.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Hongpeng Coffee Station Homestay is set in Meishan, 5.8 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street and 24 km from Janfunsun Fancy World. The place is run by a family. The son helped us carry our luggages to the 2nd floor. The place has no elevator. Our room is huge with all the basic amenities. It's got a great view from the patio. On clear days one can view the sun rise there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. It's about a 10 min drive from the Tai Ping sky ladder. There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

The seclusion in the mountains literally feels like you’re on a luxury retreat. The stay is in the mountains so make sure you pack your lunch and dinner ahead since they only provide breakfast. They have a kitchen or microwave for you. They also have a water dispenser. The view is phenomenal here and you get to hike if you feel like it all the way to the top of the mountain for free. They also have cats and dogs.

The family room we had was truly beautiful with great view and attentions to lots of details (the tea set !). All the staff was very friendly and attentive and help us a lot. And very good breakfast !

If you are looking for something other than yet another beige hotel room and continental breakfast buffet, this is definitely the place for you. Be careful, though - Taiwanese people take their food very seriously, and so do the owners! Breakfast here resembles what we in Europe would consider a two-course dinner. And it’s exquisite. In short: peaceful, relaxing, and unforgettable.
