Our stay at Shoki Shoki Lodge in Arusha was absolutely wonderful. It is a very nice lodge, peaceful and well maintained, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The room was just perfect — spacious, comfortable, and beautifully arranged with everything we needed. The toilet was very well equipped, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed, which made our stay even more comfortable. The atmosphere of the lodge is warm and welcoming, and you can really feel the care that goes into maintaining the property. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend Shoki Shoki Lodge to anyone visiting Arusha. We would happily stay again!

2 km from Uhuru monument, Mufasa city Hostel and Apartments is situated in Arusha and provides free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. The building seems new and the flats are well appointed and clean. This is also one of the few places with both a washer and a dryer, very helpful for pre and post safari trips. The location is central but not very walkable (no paved sidewalk) and there is some noise coming from the outside (however I did sleep well).

A beautiful, calm oasis in the craziness that is Arusha. Very relaxing and a great place prepare for a trip or recover from one! Cecile, Marley and Isaya are great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Getting picked up from the airport by Marley made getting there a breeze, and it was a great way to be introduced to the city. The house and garden are very tidy and nicely set up. Love all the decors inside, especially Cecile’s basket collection! Lots of great spaces inside and out to relax and chill. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire at night chatting. And Cecile’s meals —Dutch-Tanzanian ‘fusion’ — were amazing. It’s also a great location for getting to and from safari rentals, shops and local markets. Everything is a short tuk tuk ride away! Highly recommended.

Serengeti Villa has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Arusha. Offering a bar, the property is located within 2.7 km of Old German Boma. Frank was a great host, the outdoor area with the dining table, fire pit and double bed swings were an awesome touch. Felt properly like a hostel but for people who want to have their own bedroom and en suite. The evening meal and breakfast were terrific too

With mountain views, Villa Arumeru is set in Arusha and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The property is a real gem hidden in Arusha city, 20 mnts from the airport. We spent one night there after a safari and the service was impeccable ( they even cleaned our dusty shoes!), the room was spotless and really nicely decorated. They also have a really nice cute garden with a small outdoor bar and pool where we sat down after dinner. It deserves a 10!

Situated just 4.2 km from Uhuru monument, MINA CHAI HOUSE BNB offers accommodation in Arusha with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as full-day security. It was a home away from home. Room was comfortable but also there was a large sitting area with a couch and tv for lounging in the evenings. Zena was excellent, always available to help.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The mattress was firm and gave us a really good night’s sleep after a long road trip. The chef created some really tasty meals.
