Really stunning location, right on a pristine beach great for swimming. Very nice owners who can arrange transport to town or excursions. Very quiet and peaceful place. Yummy food!

Die Unterkunft Matevulu Lodge mit Meerblick in Luganville bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Garten, einem eigenen Strandbereich, einer Terrasse und Grillmöglichkeiten. Had a lovely few days here. Felt very relaxed in the beach huts right on the beach, with some snorkelling and exploring the lagoon. The host is really nice and helpful, planning lots of trips for us (scuba diving, daytrips, transfers etc) and great local knowledge. The kitchen facilities are really good for self catering, and the breakfast was fresh (especially loved the pancakes one day!). The water is also safe to drink. The showers have hot water too, the WiFi was very fast, and reliable charging facilities. The location is perfect for visiting the blue holes easily (all 1000vt entrance). They have kayaks and SUPs to use. For Riri Hole (my favourite), it was amazing to paddleboard up the super clear river to the blue hole. And for Matevulu Hole it was only a 25 minute walk from the lodge. Transfer from the airport costs 3500vt total, but includes a stop at the supermarket for supplies (it’s difficult otherwise!) and SIM cards. Get cash out at the ATMs in Santo Airport. Overall a really great option for a short tropical escape whilst also experiencing lots of stunning attractions nearby. Thanks so much to the team!

We stayed at Bombua Beach House for 9 days in the Garden View Villa with a private pool, and it was such a beautiful, relaxing experience. The villa itself was really lovely - cute, modern, thoughtfully designed, and very generously air-conditioned which we especially appreciated on hot days. It was surrounded by lush greenery, which made it very peaceful and enjoyable to spend time there, especially lounging by the pool. It felt private, calm, and perfect for switching off completely. Ash and Stacy were great hosts - genuinely welcoming, caring, and always happy to help. You could really feel how much they care about their guests having a great stay. For the entire duration of our stay we ate at the Bombua Beach Restaurant, which was excellent. The menu - breakfast, lunch and dinner - had a great variety of delicious food and drinks, and everything we tried was fantastic. As someone with coeliac (gluten-free) requirements, we felt especially well looked after - the team were attentive and very careful with details to make sure everything was safe and enjoyable. Overall, Bombua Beach House is great place - peaceful, beautifully run, and full of heart. We’d highly recommend it and would love to return one day!

The place is heaven on earth. Both the location and the house itself are stunning. Plus Sue and James have taken care of ourselves as if we were family. If you’re looking for an exclusive place to stay, close to the blue holes and wonderful beaches, Lope lope is your choice.

I had a great time ! The treehouse is beautiful, the beach is pristine and very pretty, very good food and an enchanting hostess. Paradise !

Kathy was the absolute best host ever! She helped me with anything during my stay & more. I stayed 6 nights & she makes you feel like at home. She is around at any time to ask questions. The place itself is really clean, facilitys work amazing & the beds are comfy! Supermarket is just opposite side of the street & a bus to town costs 150VT. Would definetely come back here!

John und Angelic sind wahnsinnig nette Gastgeber. Wenn du sehen möchtest, wie die Menschen in Vanuatu wirklich leben, dann solltest du hier deinen Urlaub verbringen. Das Essen ist super lecker! Der Strand ist ein Traum; vielleicht gar einer der schönsten der Welt! Der Ausblick aus dem Bungalow ist der Wahnsinn. Hier in Port Olry hat es fast keine Touristen; ich mag das. Gestern habe ich John zu seiner Kava-Plantage begleiten dürfen, um diese zu säubern. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis. Danach sind wir noch in einem unbekannten Blue Hole schwimmen gegangen.Ich fühle mich hier als Teil einer wunderbaren Familie; auch die drei Kinder sind toll. Diese habe ich in der Schule besucht. Das war sehr interessant.

Our stay at the freshwater Plantation farm stay was absolutely amazing! The bungallow is so beautiful, it is situated directly on the beach and has an amazing sea view. They also have a super nice restaurant, with delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Try the chicken Parmiggiana! We really enjoyed the evenings with Vini and Klaas, to talk about interesting topics by a glass of wine. We did the diving at the coolidge, while we stayed at their accommodation and they drove us every time and picked us up. We also went snorkelling, right in front of the bungallow and the reef is pretty decent (we even saw morey eels and lion fish). It grows back slowly after the cyclone.

Die sehr einfachen, aber sauberen Bungalows werden zu einem fantastisch günstigen Preis vermietet. Ein gutes und ebenso günstiges Restaurant befindet sich in der Anlage. Der Lonnoc Beach vor der Haustüre ist ein netter Strand mit einem Riff. Nur 15 Fußminuten entfernt befindet sich mit dem Champagne Beach einer der schönsten Strände der Welt.
