Well located in the centre of Calgary, Alt Hotel Calgary East Village provides air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a bar. Lovely avant-garde techy decor and room controls. Extremely comfortable and well thought out spaces. Very relaxing lobby area, great atmosphere, variety of seating options and pool table or board games. Staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. Underground car park with fast easy access to lobby. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting up with friend here. Bar access at one end and cafe at other. Fully recommended!

The property is great, the location is amazing. All the facilities that are needed, very friendly staff. Good gym. Free laundry.

The greeting we received upon arriving by car at the Fairmont Hotel was exceptionally warm, setting a positive tone for our entire stay. This warmth extended to the valet parking, where a courteous staff member assisted with our luggage and parked our car. Alex, the receptionist, was among the most welcoming individuals we've encountered at a hotel check-in. Our room had a great view of Lake Louise and was clean. The hotel's location was ideal. Overall, this ranks as one of our top hotel experiences. So impressed were we that we chose to book a stay at the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria for the subsequent weekend, a decision we had previously left open.

Located within 3.4 km of McMahon Stadium and 8.8 km of Crowchild Twin Arena, Alt Hotel Calgary University District offers rooms in Calgary. The lobby area is a fantastic place to hang out and meet with a friend. The Charcut restaurant off the lobby is also fantastic. They have great pizza, pasta and meat (they are butchers) and can make anything gluten free. I LOVED the room. this is the second time I have stayed here and would live here if I could. The ceilings are high, the decor is fabulous, they have blackout blinds, the bathtub is big and deep, the bathroom is huge, the bed is really comfortable, the desk chair is adjustable in height, there is a Nespresso machine and so on... Location is excellent. Lots of restaurants nearby and a grocery store across the street. Also, a section of the main floor has an area you can eat your takeout if you prefer that to eating in your room.
