We are planning to visit the hotel in the future some more times.

It has many public transport options in the area and it's also in walking distance to the city centre. There's a supermarket, restaurant and pharmacy at the ground floor of the building so this is also a big plus. Very clean and perfect for multiple people. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the cleaning staff is friendly and helpful.

The rooms were modern, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful design details that made the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast area has a stylish yet cozy atmosphere that made mornings feel special and had modern appliances for guests to use. The location is great, with excellent access to public transportation, making it easy to reach any part of the city. It is easy to go to the airport, St.Jakobshalle and city centre. A great bonus is the option for online check-out, which takes less than two minutes – super convenient and efficient and you can do it 0-24. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stylish, clean, and comfortable place to stay in Basel, with top-notch service and a great location.

Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. Delicious breakfast for a fair price, with a very nice view to the internal garden.The room wasn't the biggest room but it had enough space for 2 people and it was very well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Very charming place in a lovely location. The room is super big, with a lot of light. The staff is very friendly and open to help, as well as flexible. 100% will return! Even the shared bathroom was not an issue, as they were super clean and renewed.
