I had an absolutely incredible stay at Cruz Roja in Leticia, easily the best experience of my entire trip in Colombia! The staff here are simply amazing—friendly, funny, and always willing to help. They made everything easy and enjoyable, from modifying my booking dates to storing my belongings while I traveled deeper into the jungle. They helped coordinate with a tour agency, which was a huge plus. Each morning, they cooked delicious meals, and we had great and easy conversations over breakfast. Their kindness and warmth made me feel at home, and I truly appreciated their care and attention. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean, and the rooms are very spacious with air conditioning—an absolute necessity in the Amazon! One detail I particularly loved was the adjustable lighting in the rooms, allowing you to switch between cold and warm tones. Small things like this really make a difference. Just keep in mind, like everywhere in the Amazon, there is no hot water—but that's to be expected. The location is convenient, just a short drive from the airport, and while it's not the most walkable area due to an open field separating it from the city center, tuk-tuks are cheap and fast. Getting around Leticia is very easy, as it's a small town. Another reason to stay here: the hotel contributes part of its profits to the Red Cross Foundation. So by staying here, you're also supporting a great cause. Huge thanks to the entire staff for making my stay in Leticia unforgettable! If you're visiting the Amazon and want a comfortable, welcoming place with amazing hospitality, I highly recommend Cruz Roja.

Casa amazilia is a recently renovated guest house in Leticia, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, open-air bath and garden. Great personal home. Lovley owners how take care of everything and support you when ever it is needed. Thank you so much!

Located in Leticia, Hotel CHAFO features an outdoor swimming pool, terrace and free WiFi. The accommodation provides room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. Though the location is a bit off the center, currently blocked by construction site and took me longer to reach, it's really good value for money and the host was always kind to offer water, tableware and common ingredients. The room was very clean and quiet.

Cabañas alto del aguila in Puerto Nariño features 2-star accommodation with a garden. The hotel has family rooms. this is just a fantastic place on the Amazon River, you live in the wild, wonderful monkeys come to visit you, the owner of the guest house is always ready to help with any question, you can book excursions

Located in Puerto Nariño, Maiku Amazonas provides accommodation with seating area. Staff were really friendly and took us on tours into the jungle and down the river to see some wildlife and indigenous communities. The hostel itself is a great place to relax and switch off. The top terrace has a great view over the river, and we even saw monkeys running along the wire just in front of the terrace!

Set in Leticia, Hotel Boutique VILLALILIANA has a garden, restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Absolutely beautiful property with a clean pool area. We were surprised with a welcome drink and the staff were super lovely!! All our travel and tours were organised very efficiently. Especially the Mundo Amazonico Tour is highly recommendable but you should speak Spanish. However one of us didn’t and still enjoyed the tour.

Located in Puerto Nariño, Hotel " TATÜANE " provides accommodation with seating area. Our stay here with Leo and his wife, Elizabeth, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are comfortable and the hammocks are a great way to unwind after a long day. Leo took us on amazing adventures and when conflicts with scheduling happened, he saw to it that we were well taken care of. He speaks some English and we speak some Spanish, but it was only a small obstacle and it didn’t take away from the tours. Leo is incredibly patient and knowledgeable about the area and Elizabeth is an amazing cook. It felt like they had included us as family during our stay. Thank you for taking such great care of us during our adventure. We would recommend this stay to anyone.

Eco Hostel RENASE is a recently renovated guest house in Leticia, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. It's a very quiet place, great to sleep, to rest and to medidate. It's surrounded by the forest. The food is delicious and tipical of the Amazon.

Set in Zaragoza, CHUNAKI ECOLODGES - Authentic Activities and Food in the Amazon offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and garden views. Our trip to the Amazon was incredible. The best stay of our Colombian trip, we cannot recommend it enough. The food was local and they adapted to our preferences (my partner is vegetarian), the cabins were comfortable, cozy and we felt at home.
