It was very spacious with 2 separate large bedrooms and then main living space with kitchenette. Perfect location for exploring the Saarland area. Gastehaus Schloss Saareck is situated in Mettlach, in a beautiful park on the banks of the River Saar, near the scenic Saarschleife valley. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV. We have chosen the hotel for a one night stay in the city of Villeroy & Boch. The castle is romantic, charming with great surroundings. We loved our room. Even if it was hot, the room was equipped with a classic ventilator that helped us circulate the air. The bathroom looked amazing (not the one with bathtub), quality materials and very clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was very good.
