Room, service and food were excellent. Very attentive and pleasant staff. Particularly one young man who served drinks when we arrived and then breakfast on Sunday morning

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. Absolutely everything, the professionalism of the staff, the amazing scenic view from the room (number 1 and number 3 as we decided to stay an extra night), the amazing bed. They were also very accommodating with our dog, and the dog walk around the hotel is marvellous! The restaurant food was also really great! And so was the breakfast! Thank you

It was so peaceful and the views were beautiful. The hot tub as well as the pod was spotless, plus you had towels for the bathroom and separate ones for the hot tub.
