They went above and beyond to make our experience truly special. From preparing delicious homemade food for us to helping us explore the hidden gems around the area, everything felt so personal and thoughtful. What touched me the most was how they surprised me on my birthday – with a cake, decorations, and even bringing friends together to celebrate. It was honestly the sweetest gesture ever, and something I’ll cherish forever. I travel often and have stayed at many places, but this was hands down the BEST experience I’ve ever had with hosts. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home (or even better!), this is it. Highly, highly recommend! 🌟

Committed. This is around 25 km before Pasighat while coming from Lakhimpur or Bholukpong. Very reasonable rates. We get more than what we pay. They also took very good care of our driver. .

The hosts Mr.Pemba Tsering and his wife Mrs Kesang are great hosts. They made our stay very homely and comfortable. Mrs.kesang prepared the tastiest homemade food for us. Say it bad luck, our car broke down on the 2nd day of our stay and we didn't have the choice to drive back the car on our own. They gladly agreed to park the car at their place till the towing truck comes for rescue. I would recommend any one coming to Menchukha for their Great hospitality and they are all out there for you in times of trouble. We stayed for one night at Orchid Valley Homestay in Dirang and it was such a sweet, beautiful and memorable experience. The host (didi) and her son were incredibly warm and kind — their hospitality honestly touched us. They made us feel like we were staying with family rather than at a homestay. The room was cozy and comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the entire atmosphere was peaceful and calm. The courtyard is absolutely charming — filled with flowers, fresh vegetables and so much care. It truly added to the beauty of the place. Didi also cooked delicious meals for us and we loved every bite. The location is perfect too — Dirang Dzong and the Stone Village are just a short walk away, and there’s a waterfall nearby as well. During checkout, didi even gifted us traditional scarves, which was such a sweet gesture and made our stay even more special. We honestly wish we could’ve stayed longer. It’s a homestay filled with love, warmth and simple beauty. We will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dirang!
