Every little problem I brought with me, they solved with such kindness and ease. From helping me get tailored clothes made, to fixing the screen on my phone, to preparing the most delicious meals, to even arranging a local traveler to accompany me to the ghats — they thought of everything. Mohit’s wife cooks the most amazing food, with a huge variety of delicious home-style Indian dishes. I probably ate 70% of my meals here, and every bite was a treat! As a solo woman traveler, I felt completely safe and cared for. When I ran into trouble with a bad Uber driver, they stepped in right away and sorted it out without hesitation. Whatever was on my to-do list, they somehow made it happen. Their home is full of warmth, laughter, and the sweetest little girls you’ll instantly fall in love with. Mohit’s mother also carries such wisdom and clarity in her words that, even when she spoke in Hindi, I found myself understanding. They’re wonderfully creative too — they hand painted uplifting murals to brighten the walls, from a cute panda to a serene Buddha, and they’ve even made cozy seats out of recycled tyre wheels. In the evenings, the open terrace is the perfect place to sit, while doves that have been nesting there for over five years coo gently in the background. The family also runs a small shop, so snacks and drinks are always within easy reach. Compared to the bustle of the city, this place is peaceful and quiet, yet still just a short walk from the Buddhist temples in Sarnath. The rooms are comfortable, with options to suit everyone — from dorms to single rooms and larger family spaces. Truly, this is the BEST place I have ever stayed. Everything; the room was comfortable, the bathroom wasn’t small, very good internet connection and above all the owner was non chalant.( I can’t imagine how many ask him the same questions and yet he doesn’t over do it, just answering with a smile.

The house has a beautiful antique interior of 200 years old. It feels like going back in time. The house has two rooms, a shared living room and a fully equipped kitchen. The host, Amit, is a wonderful honest guy, he picked us up from the airport late at night while our flight was delayed. He is there whenever you need him but he knows how to respect your privacy. The location is close to the old city center.

The man named Lucky didn't sleep and waited for me. Overall the room is very cleam and spacious. Typical Indian shower with hot water. 10 mins walk to Taj Mahal and loads of nice restaurants nearby. I cannot complain anything.

But what truly made the experience exceptional was the manager. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—he gave me great tips on where to go, and even arranged a reliable transportation for my very early morning trip to the train station. His kindness and attention to detail made me feel so well taken care of. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Mr. Shivam is very helpful and polite, he helped us througout our stay. Rooms were well maintained. Garden area is refreshing and beautiful.
