Facing the beachfront, Hotel Solana Bacalar Lakefront offers 4-star accommodation in Bacalar and features a garden, private beach area and terrace. The location is right at the lake shore. The room was big and spacious, with a 'bigger then needed' bathroom, and a porch (ground floor balcony) which is the entrance to the room and it is facing the lake. This is somewhat a positive and a negative feature, since there is a great view to the lake, but also the whole room is directly exposed to be viewed by others. There is a great common area, a wooden dock with a hut, a semi-open bar/kitchen, an outside water cooler, a short pebbled entrance way that adds to the nice atmosphere to the hotel. It is really great that there are 4 kayaks that can be taken for free to explore the lake.

The hosts are amazing and friendly. Their advice s were super useful, they helped us with everything. Great breakfast, great apartment. I recommend it and I will come again 😀

Set in Bacalar, Beryllos Bacalar has a garden. There is a year-round outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The place was adorable, such a nice garden with pool, a (small) outdoor kitchen with some tables in the shadow.. Very nice! The kids loved the pool, the room was big enough. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Set in Bacalar, Elmar Hostel offers free bikes. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Guest rooms in the hostel are equipped with a coffee machine. I‘ve stayed in 50+ hostels but never came across one like this. Everything is on point, there‘s nothing more you could wish for. The bunk beds are hands down the best I‘ve ever seen. With the slightly higher price tag come a lot of amenities like free laundry (!!), paddleboard and bikes. The owner and his crew are amazing persons as well. Moreover the hostel is super new (less than one year). It‘s the perfect place for everyone looking for a calm, relaxed place beyond the party hostels like Che next door.

Situated right in the heart of Cancún, 500 metres from Cancun Bus Station, Rose 5 features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. clean, spacious, comfortable, location and good communication with the host (he sent us clear instructions on how to get there and was attentive to my concerns). Perfect for the price.

This hotel is so amazing!!!! What I liked most about this property is how luxurious and homely it feels. From the moment you arrive the staff are so lovely and attentive the entire time. The place is decorated so beautifully you just want to take photos everywhere you go. The pool in the room is a once in a lifetime experience. The food at the restaurant was perfect and there is a cute boutique at the front. The hotel itself is really perfect and adds to the bohemian experience of being in Tulum.
