We wholeheartedly recommend this place. It’s an absolute gem! The setting is breathtaking, and the hosts are incredibly kind, helpful, and flexible. We felt truly welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The chalet is charming, comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the sauna after a day of exploring. We’re so grateful to have discovered this little paradise. It made our trip unforgettable!

The host is an amazing guy, he prepared the apartment before we arrive. He also brings a welcome drink and apples . The apartment was big and clean , everything you need is available and no need to buy anything . Very comfortable. Very lovely place and near everything you need , restaurants and cafes also neqr the lake Best place in Voss .

Scandic Voss features a restaurant, fitness centre, a bar and ski-to-door access in Vossevangen. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Great location. Modern. Facilities were clean and the breakfast was top notch.

This family-run hostel lies by Lake Vangsvatnet, 1 km from the village of Voss. It has a TV lounge and a communal kitchen. Free WiFi is available in common areas. First the breakfast was amazing! Most of the products are from their farm and organic. Second, the room is clean and quite. We were 3 people but it can fit to 5. Stuff was very helpful. The public areas are enough. The view was excellent!

For us, the Mountain Lodge was the absolute perfect place for our hiking holiday - so perfect we ended up staying an extra night. If you love nature, this is the place for you. We went into every direction to hike and had breathtaking views every day we went out. What I am saying is: the location of this place was everything we could hope for. The Lodge itself is run by very caring and kind people, the rooms are 'homey' (we loved the wood) and the communal kitchen was a place where we had interactions with people from all around the globe. All the amenities are kept clean but you have to go with the knowledge that this is more like a hostel than a hotel, which means shared bathrooms, showers and kitchen are not going to look squeaky clean for the entire day. We loved it all the same. The place also has a very rich history, which is worth asking about or researching on your own. The way down from the train station is a hike on its own, so don't bring a big suitcase or you will have to haul it down a very small and steep path. One more tipp: if you keep your eyes open and stay patient you can see norway lemmings up in the mountains (they look like hamsters and are pretty cute).

Historic Jaunsen Gjestgjevarstad offers home-cooked Norwegian cuisine, free Wi-Fi, and free private parking. Voss is 25 minutes’ drive away. This place has character! Lovely warm charm. Staff and owner were lovely. Evening meal is a must. Lovely breakfast.
