The place is truly beautiful and peaceful. I found it very relaxing, especially with the yoga room located right above the river. The sauna was the perfect way to end the day. The accommodation is also conveniently close to the hiking trail to the Salt Mines (Salineras) — I absolutely loved it!

The owners - Helga and Romulo - are some of the most loving and helpful people I met during my travels. Even when I lost my purse and passport they did everything to help me to get it back, which I did eventually. I really liked the location, quiet and very close to nature and the ancient sites. Romulo even gave me a little tour around the sites. They also gave me a hot-water bottle every night because it was a bit cold. Two super lovely humans. Thanks so much, would definitely coming back!

Refugio de Mery Lucmabamba está establecido en Sahuayacu, a 17 km de Huayna Picchu, a 19 km de Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary, así como a 19 km de Manuel Chavez Ballon Museum. We loved the hosts, they were super friendly and engaging. Also loved the coffee tour and the food was so amazing. The beds were super comfy too. We loved everything.
