Excellent place to stay in Porto Moniz. Location is super convenient, close to the natural pools and with enough parking spaces (either underground at the hotel, or the parking next door). Super helpful and friendly staff, willing to give recommendations for your days in Madeira. Breakfast, even though in a different building close by, was also delicious with multiple savory and sweet options. The room was spacious, with enough equipment to make your own food in the studio if you want. The bed and the pillows we also comfortable and the small terrace of the room gives enough space to relax after your excursions.

Three House Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Funchal. Les instal lacions, la zona terrassa-piscina, el restaurant, l’ ubicació, i disposar de parking amb acces directe. Però sobretot l amabilitat d en Sidoni amb totes les recomenacions de trekkings i restaurants!

L'Aqua Natura Madeira, de 4 estrelles, està situat al poble pesquer de Porto Moniz, a 45 km al nord del centre de Funchal. Ofereix habitacions elegants amb vistes a l'oceà Atlàntic i sauna. First of all - the amazing view from the balcony. Simply breathtaking. We didn't even switch on the tv while staying there for 3 days, we just stared at the waves... The room was spacious and super clean, nicely decorated. The food!!!!! We got halfboard option and it was the best decision. Both restaurants were amazing, the dinner for me was a day ending adventure of itself every day.

Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. Location could not have been better! Super friendly staff. We had a very special and unique experience.

Set in Machico, S A L - Beach Apartments Caniçal is a recently renovated accommodation, 22 km from Santana's Traditional Houses and 30 km from Marina do Funchal. Great place with all necessary staff for travellers. A lot of cafes and restaurants just in a few minutes walks. Pedro is a super friendly and active host, who gave a plenty of local recommendations and directions. Coffee machine with the capsules did my mornings happy)

Offering mountain views, Quinta' Home is an accommodation situated in Ribeira da Janela, 5.6 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools and 40 km from Girao Cape. The host was very kind. She and her daughter helped us a lot. We travelled by public transport but the north island is hard by that, so she picked us up, showed us a lot of hidden tourist spots on the way and drove us to the things we wanted and needed the whole stay.

Situated just 1.8 km from Lugar de Baixo Beach, Panoramic House provides accommodation in Ribeira Brava with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. The owners were really nice and attentive. They had a very well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed for cooking and a space in the fridge to store the food. The place has a nice view of the ocean and a common place to sit around and chill. The room was clean and tidy. They have shared bathroom supplies if needed. My partner and I enjoyed the stay with them and they were helpful with a few requests we had. Thank you

Featuring a patio with quiet street views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Casa do Avô can be found in Ponta do Sol, close to Lugar de Baixo Beach and 14 km from Girao Cape. Super, super clean, well appointed accommodation with ocean views, wild style garden and all the amenities necessary for a comfortable, relaxing family stay. Great host who was easy to communicate with. The only drawback for a person who is mold sensitive like myself was the humidity smell in the downstairs bedroom. Something that seems to be pretty ubiquitous on an island with so much water everywhere.

Situated in Calheta within 2 km of Calheta Beach and 25 km of Girao Cape, Sunset Star with Sea View features rooms with free WiFi. We really enjoyed the location away from the busy areas on the island. The apartment was just a pictured and the views was amazing. We also enjoyed the cows(mom and baby)just below having fun in the sugar cane. I was concerned about parking but it was not an issue and we always found a place, the cost was minimal and free on Sundays(if I remember). Also, there is a grocery store within a short walk from the apartment.

Set in Santa Cruz, 1.2 km from Palmeiras Beach, Villas Madalena Chalets vista mar cWiFi features rooms with sea views and free WiFi. Very neat apartments, all necessary dishes and tools in the kitchen. Not far from the main road, the planes were not so noisy, they did not interfere with the rest
