I had a beautiful vacation at the Aurora River Camp. We had one of the glass igloos facing the river and spent 4 wonderful nights there. We saw the aurora on all four nights. The igloo comes with a small kitchenette and emergency toilet. There is a really comfortable and cozy common house with a kitchen, toilet and luxurious breakfast. Tony and all the staff are super approachable and helpful. We had the sauna and barbeque at the camp which were amazing experiences. We saw a grand show of the Northern Lights on our last day there and the best part was that we could enjoy it from the warmth of our room. There are lots of fun activities at the camp and around it. I would highly recommend the Husky sledding.

It was a breathtaking experience that made our New Year incredibly special—a memory we will cherish for a lifetime. Petr was very flexible with our check in - which made our lives much easier, driving all day and knowing we could take as many breaks as we needed. The house had all the amenities needed and plenty (!) of beds. We all wished we had more time to stick around, actually, but unfortunately it was only a stop on our way to further North.

On the banks of the river, this motel is in Sangis just 100 metres from the E4 motorway and 20 km from Kalix. The place was cosy and simple in a good way, the owner was a lovely and friendly lady, who also makes and sells beautiful crafts, the breakfast was good and with great value for money. Perfect location as a hub for an icebreaker cruise nearby. Also seems like a perfect place for summer.
