The historic Margretetorps Gästgifvaregård is located by Hallandsåsen mountain ridge, a 10-minute drive from Ängelholm city centre. Wow, that was an amazing experience, the staff so kind and friendly, the atmosphere and location just outstanding, if you ask for peaceful nights sleep and pleasant experience this place ticks all the boxes. Room very clean and to a high quality standard, very comfortable bed, it was just awesome stay over weekend. The breakfast buffet - delicious and fresh, just wow🤩. I will definitely be looking forward to returning in the near future.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The location was perfect, the interior was beautiful and thoughtfully designed, and communication was smooth and friendly. Everything exceeded our expectations – highly recommended! After our stay, the few negative reviews we had read seem completely unfounded. While breakfast wasn't extremely varied, it was more than enough, fresh and satisfying. We actually appreciated the mindful approach – excessive consumerism and food waste aren't values we support, and it's great to see a place that considers that. Thank you for such a thoughtful and pleasant experience!

Even their dog and two cats were really welcoming. :) The holiday home is absolutely gorgeous and has a beautifully decorated interior. Everything is nice and clean. Especially the kitchen and dining area are awesome. We did not miss a thing. As a special treat, there were a nice swimming pool and also a barbecue in the garden that we were allowed to use. They couldn't have done any more to ensure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. One particular highlight that we all loved was how we were encouraged to feed the deer - not just one or two of them but approx 30 that were very keen to be fed because of all the snow preventing them from being able to feed off the grass. Mattheus and Nicky told to us to feel free to roam around all 22 hectares of their surrounding grounds and just to ensure all gates were closed behind us. The accommodation itself had everything we could possibly need. Will definitely want to come back and would highly recommend this to anyone that would love a place with a difference.
