After a relaxing morning swim, I enjoyed the on-site Barbarossa restaurant for exceptional Mediterranean cuisine. Loved the drinks at the pool with stunning views. The long sandy beach is just steps away and with the sunloungers setting perfect for swimming and sunbathing. Staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The facilities included were excellent and well maintained. We enjoyed the the roof top swimming pool, indoor swimming pool, heated jacuzzi, steam bath and sauna. Staff are courteous. The roof top dining had a good acropolis view and the food is delicious. I could see all other guests happily enjoying the hotel too. We had a good stay.

Good facilities. It’s amazing how rare indoor swimming pools are in Athens but note you have to book in advance and the hours for children are more restrictive. Really friendly breakfast staff.

We loved the breathtaking view of the Acropolis and the swimming pool. The three balconies, two lots of outdoor tables and chairs are perfect for alfresco dining. The kitchen was well equipped, and the host generously provided some drinks and breakfast supplies. The convenience of being within walking distance to all major attractions makes this spot a perfect blend of comfort and exploration. Highly recommended for an unforgettable Athens experience!

The indoor swimming pool was a massive hit with the kids. It was brilliant and an abiding memory for my six year old.
Although we were not given a room with a bath (despite our request) the staff at the hotel went out of their way to find us a baby bath for my 1 year old which was deeply appreciated and really helped us.
Breakfast was good. Wonderful freshly squeezed orange juice.
Adjoining rooms were arranged which was very much appreciated.

The location of the hotel is excellent: very close to Syntagma Square; edge of Plaka; close to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum; close to Monastiraki; excellent eateries and bars nearby……
The 8th floor restaurant has fabulous 360 degree views of Athens.
The outdoor swimming pool offers a very welcome break from exploring and sightseeing in the heat of Athens.
