The pool is just right in front of our room, therefore we can have a night swim easily. The team is very helpful and responsive when we have queries about our stay. The resort is definitely one of the best choices for a getaway in the Ubud area. Their dinner menu was great as well!

Although we didn’t have the chance to try the spa (we were always out exploring!), we are confident it would have been amazing based on the quality of everything else. The service was exceptional—every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Their hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay.
We stayed in one of the suites with an outdoor hot tub, and it was absolutely incredible. Soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the stunning views of the jungle was like a dream come true. The infinity pool was equally breathtaking—a perfect spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. The cleanliness of the resort was unmatched; everything was spotless, and we’ve honestly never experienced such meticulous attention to detail in a property.
The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal we had at the resort was excellent, and we loved that we didn’t need to go anywhere else to enjoy high-quality dining. The live music in the evenings added such a lovely atmosphere to our dining experiences. It’s rare to find a place where everything exceeds expectations, but Kastara Resort truly deserves its 5-star rating and more.
In terms of location, it couldn’t have been better. The resort is a peaceful haven away from the chaotic center of Ubud, yet still close enough to explore. It’s about a 35-minute walk to the center, which was perfect for us as we could avoid the traffic while enjoying the serenity of the surrounding jungle. It also served as the perfect base for exploring Ubud and its beautiful surroundings.
Without a doubt, Kastara Resort is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. If you’re visiting Ubud, this is the place to go—you won’t regret it. We’re already dreaming of coming back someday!

HungaryThe location is great, far from the noisy city centre but also it is easily accessible within less than 10mins by scooter if one would go out. Breakfast and food in their own resturant is very rich and tasty, the stuff is super nice and very helpful. They have massage opportunity where they provide balinese massage - very relaxing on a fair price. The rooms, pool and everything in general is very clean and we could use the laundry services as well . Also great about this place is that they provide free mineral water refill option and they also make ice from mineral water so we didnt have to worry about that either.

Besides the amazing location and the cottage itself it is mr. Kadek, the owner and host, himself who makes the big difference everyday. With a big smile and a service mind set he makes sure you are nothing short. Last minute anniversary cake? No problem. Drop off and pickup downtown Ubud? No problem. Tips, advice, suggestions for restaurants, swimming pools, waterfalls etc? No problem. When i get back to Ubud I will certainly stay here again.

The property is massive and surreal. They have their own rice paddy fields, forest walk with a river and waterfall, they have a kids club with indoor and outdoor play, they have the traditional Balinese dances with dinner and they have villa options with your own pool which we took. The breakfast buffet is amazing, they have a huuuge outdoor space for the kids to run around while you eat, the staff are super lovely and caring. The monkey forest is 10 min away. There are hundreds of restaurants in ubud that are closeby

Gorgeous grounds with an outdoor bar area, mini gym, lounge beds and a swimming pool!! The atmosphere was great. Lovely breakfast included. Staff were great. Situated on a busy street with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Monkey forest a short walk away.
We got a fob bracelet for the door and a large locker.
They also organise lots of activities and we even watched a poolside movie with free popcorn.
It was fantastic!!
We were provided with a shower towel and a pool towel. Very handy!

The villa is huge, has 2 very well appointed bedrooms with massive bathroom complex with a bath tub and a wardrobe too. The hall is spacious and opens to the beautiful views of rice terraces; it also has a outdoor swimming pool with deck chairs and a separate comfortable sitting Area. There is a kitchen and dining table too. The service is superb and punctual. They provide a very nice breakfast( included in the price) and delicious lunch and dinner at very affordable prices. They have spa services too

The service was at all times wonderful and made us feel very special! People make this place as they are all so kind and helpful! We have spend few wonderful days at the Sakti Garden Resort and wouldn’t change anything! Room was very spacious and comfortable. There was lots of choices at breakfast. We have spend an amazing time using high standard facilities such as Spa and outdoor swimming pool.

- Beautiful place, very unique setup & the rooms were beautiful. Calming, quiet place (except some other guests) & a good spot after Seminyak to unwind & relax.
- Facilities are beautiful. Awesome pool with a swim-up bar (although not open when we were there), bi-daily yoga sessions, walks to the nearby waterfall were all nice.

Fantastic villa with amazing conditions, swimming pool, outdoor and indoor space and decoration. Everything was clean and you can hear the sounds of nature everytime :)
Staff is very friendly and helpful and Ketut helped us all the way through our trip, from taking us from the airport to organizing us a tour through Ubud and more.
Highly recommended if you visit Ubud!
