It was bright, comfortable and calm. The bathroom is clean and nice, the bed was comfortable, there's a kitchen and a fridge to store food. Perfect for families or friends. It is a magical place with a charm of the old garden and spectacular views. The small wooden houses are very cute and comfortable, shared kitchen is well equipped with fridge, microwave, oven and stove! Outdoor kitchen, rest pavilions and the pool is great as well! The place is quiet and peaceful with all you need!

Located in Chiflik, Blyan Family Hotel offers a garden and an à la carte restaurant serving traditional Bulgarian cuisine. The hotel is very neat, clean and the rooms are spacious, with a balcony. The food is provided in fixed 3 block menus for breakfast and 9 for dinner - all very very delicious. The mekitsi for breakfast are the most gentle ones we have ever ate. The stuff is polite.

The 4-star design Hotel Diplomat Plaza is in the centre of Lukovit. It features a spa centre, a heated indoor pool and free WiFi in all areas. Amazing place, truly one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen. The style is that of a Las Vegas hotel, with rich decorations, themed rooms and halls, multiple works of art on diplay (most of them can be purchased) even in rooms. Large rooms, large bathrooms all amenities functional, most of the staff capable of speaking English. The hotel is a most unlikely appearance for such a small provincial town in the northern ( less developed) part of Bulgaria. I think it serves a starting ground for many guided tour activities to the amazing neighboring natural area of the Prohodna Cave. It serves thus, mainly groups of wealthy foreign tourists. The spa area is also nice. The parking area is sufficient. I only stayed here for one night as a rest stop on our returning route from Greece, but I'll be coming back for sure.
