Don Enrique is muy amable and can help you with information on the area. The room is spacious and clean. The location worked well for us as it is close to Fin del Mundo and other hiking options, and was quiet and near the forest. It is quite far from town but you can get on the 4 bus or take a taxi., but if you prefer being central this is not your best option. If you plan to cook, recommend that you stop at the Mocoa Mercado beforehand. There is a small tienda not far away, and the family does operate the restaurant Casa de Chorizo in front where the asado is cooking up their namesake chorizo as well as cerdo and pescado.

It's a little paradise in the middle of nature owned by an amazing family who make an effort to protect the forest and animals that live there. Birds, monkeys, frogs, butterflies... there is so much to see. Can't wait to come back :)
