Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Sonesta Hotel Bucaramanga offers accommodation in Floridablanca, 5 km from Bucaramanga. The staff were incredibly friendly, the hotel was very comfortable. We liked the different choices for breakfast and how handy was to have the mall next door.

The 5-star Hotel Dann Carlton is located in the exclusive Bucaramanga district, central Santander. It offers luxurious accommodations and panoramic city views from the rooftop pool and sun terrace. The breakfast was a fantastic mix of local Colombian breakfast food as well as European breakfast foods. The Colombian food included Tamales, Pan de Yuca, Pan con Bocadillo, Calentado, Chorizos and of course, scrambled eggs both with and without ham. The European food included toasted bread with marmalade, cereals including cornflakes; granola and Choco Crisps (the Colombian Coco Pops!), eggs as requested (we ordered fried eggs), muffins / cupcakes and yogurt. The drinks there was coffee (of course! 🇨🇴), tea, milk, hot chocolate, freshly squeezed juices of Blackberry, Mandarin, and Orange. Honestly, it was a fantastic blended breakfast for all, those who prefer their conventional breakfast and those who want to the local cuisine!

The use of local materials and building craft as well as the attention to design, lighting, and landscaping is a pleasure to experience. The staff is ever present and yet almost invisible, lovely! A must delightful place to stay. Sexy, very romantic.

Cabañas el Nopal has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in San Gil, 42 km from Chicamocha National Park. The accommodation features a spa bath. This place feels like heaven! We could not believe our eyes when we walked in. Such a beautiful place! Amazing price for this kind of accomodation. The bathroom was so pretty, the room really big and the garden.. just wooow! We loved having our own little pool!

The welcoming from the family was very warm. Oliberth and his mom Margarita were super friendly, answered every question we had, and helped us with what we needed.The apartament had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable.

Set in Barichara, 48 km from Chicamocha National Park, Casa Primitivo offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Juan Camilo was a great host! He's friendly and gave us great local recommendations. He recommended us one of the best restaurants in town (Sierra). Also, the place was clean, quiet, and the morning breakfast was delicious. Thanks!

The Best Adventure Hostel is a recently renovated guest house in San Gil, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. This guest house also has a rooftop pool. Everything was just amazing! The staff is super friendly and helpful (they booked bustickets and activities for us). The owner Darío is also really nice and on Friday we received a salsa lesson from his wife, which was a lot of fun! The pool is great for the hot days. The shower also gets really hot (you don’t know how much you miss hot showers until you don’t have them available anymore) and everything is spotless clean. The location is amazing as well, everything is around the corner.
