Inselhotel VierJahreszeiten is located in Borkum town centre, just a 200 metres from the beach.It features a restaurant serving German specialities and a free heated outdoor pool. We have been picked up at the station by hotel staff and guided to our accomodation (Villa Düne). The interior was excellent as expected (2nd stay).

This classic seaside hotel is located next to the beach along the seafront promenade on the island of Borkum. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and bar staff Chris at night was very pleasant. The view from the dining room and the proximity to the beach were excellent. We arrived at the island by catamaran which I can recommend as the journey is much shorter and much less turbulent than the ferry. The last leg of the journey was by a little train from the island’s port to the town which was very pretty.
