Grand Hotel Guayaquil, an Ascend Collection Hotel – A Distinctive Establishment in the Heart of Our City Our hotel boasts a privileged location right next to the iconic Metropolitan Cathedral of... We had an early international flight (7 AM) the next day, so we had to leave the hotel at 3:30 AM. They kindly arranged some yummy box breakfasts that helped us get some energy to begin our long journey.

I arrived late but the guardian was there to open the gate and assist with parking. It is convenient location near the airport. The room was clean and hot water in the shower. They do allow dogs so we stayed near the pool and there was a grassy area to walk our dog. Management was very accommodating. Breakfast is made-to-order. I would highly recommend to stay here! We felt safe and it was a bit like home.
