I had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Ciudad de Ávila. From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The hotel is modern, spotless, and very well maintained, with thoughtful touches that make you feel welcome. The room was spacious, quiet, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities you'd expect—air conditioning, a minibar, a great shower, and reliable Wi-Fi. I especially appreciated the soundproofing, which made for a peaceful night's sleep. Parking was easy and secure, and the location is ideal—close to the historic center of Ávila, yet in a quiet area with easy access to main roads. The breakfast was fresh and convenient, and I also enjoyed a great meal at the on-site restaurant.

The owner was very friendly, gave me a warm welcome, went out of his way to explain everything and recommend where to eat and places to visit. The room was spacious and clean with a great view, and the town is peaceful. Highly recommended.

We had everything necessary, plus an amazing view. The jacuzzi had hot water available so we were still able to use if even though the weather was not perfect. We're also happy that we could travel with our dog without any issues.

First and foremost it's Marta, our host, who did fantastic job to help us enjoying our visit to Avila. She not only met us and showed around, but helped to park the car and gave us all important information on the tourist attractions of Avila. The apartment is big, clean and very well maintained. It has everything could possibly need, even 3 volumes of "History of Avila". The terrace is a great place for the breakfast or for the late afternoon wine sipping.

Asterix and his father and their pups are wonderful hosts. Highly recommended.
