Set in a building dating from the 15th century, La Villa Mazarin is located in the fortified city of Aigues-Mortes. It offers a terrace and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. All was lovely. I did not have a chance to try the restaurant as it is closed on Mondays.

Featuring free WiFi, Mas des Cabidoules offers accommodation in Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, 1.9 km from Eglise des Stes Maries. The bed and breakfast has an outdoor pool and views of the lake. Amelie and Gregor are consummate hosts. The location is out of this world. Peaceful. And beautiful. It felt like I was sleeping in a bird sanctuary with my own private pool. I was able to relax, connect with the hosts but they also gave me all the space I needed, I loved traveling into town to shop and sightsee and return to my little sanctuary. Morning coffee by the bay was outstanding!

The breakfast was excellent - freshly prepared eggs as you like along with a wonderful buffet. Beautiful view - bedrooms that open right onto the lake. Breakfast room looking onto lake, with ducks and otters and swans providing entertainment! The Camargue is fabulous - this hotel is an amazing place to enjoy it from. Would go back tomorrow if I could.
