I didn't expect such a good place. From the street, the hotel looks quite ordinary. From the courtyard, however, it's a low-rise complex with a very atmospheric atmosphere. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is large and has a shower. An additional advantage is the electric heater with electronic drying and rapid heating programs. The room doesn't have a refrigerator, as described, but there is a room with a refrigerator, where everyone has their own space – a very nice feature. Cold, hot, and sparkling water are available free of charge – there's a dispenser from which you can refill as needed. Plates, glasses, and cutlery are also provided if you want to make yourself something to eat. You can also order breakfast. Bikes are available for rent – both electric and classic. There's also a charging station for cars (AC). Of course, there's also a heated outdoor pool – it's not very large, but sufficient. The staff is very helpful and friendly – their dedication is evident. This place is highly recommended.

Offering a garden and river view, La Cale de la Clauderie is located in Rigny-Ussé, 2.7 km from Château d'Ussé and 13 km from Château de Chinon. I really enjoyed my stay — the place is quiet, beautiful, and very scenic. It’s conveniently located for visiting some of the most stunning castles in the area. The hosts were very welcoming, and we had a wonderful evening together over dinner and great conversation. I’d be very happy to come back again!
